Developing solutions with innovative user experience and design in the field of medical AI
Phantomics (CEO Choi Byung-wook, Kim Pan-ki) and Superhero (CEO Kim Young-woong) announced on the 24th that they have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to jointly develop solutions in new innovative user experience and design in the field of medical AI.
Recently, CT and MRI images, which are essential for the diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases, require a high level of expertise from medical staff in the process from imaging to diagnosis due to complex imaging methods and difficulty in reading images. However, despite the emergence of AI technology, improving the user experience of medical AI software in cardiovascular image reading and diagnosis has taken a backseat.
Phantomics has advanced AI-based medical image analysis technology, while Superhero specializes in scenario envisioning and user experience (UI/UX)and interface improvements. With their complementary capabilities, the two companies aim to build an innovative user experience for effective and efficient AI diagnostic solutions in the field of AI diagnostics and showcase a new paradigm for future image diagnostic solutions.
"This agreement is a great step forward in combining artificial intelligence technology and design to improve the accuracy and user experience of heart disease diagnosis," said Pan-Ki Kim, CEO of Phantomics, while Young-Woong Kim, CEO of Superhero, added, "This is a great example of how the power of design can impact the health and lives of patients by going beyond mere appearance and working with Phantomics to overcome cardiovascular disease, the number one killer in the world."
